What is FreeBOB?

FreeBOB is a free compressor.

Features: 

- Only one main parameter.

- Adaptive mode: Automatically adjusts the ratio according to the audio content. 

- Double-envelope detection: simultaneously analyzes fast transients and sustained content. 

- Auto-adaptive attack and release times: adjust instantly according to the audio material. 

- Bass preservation: Integrated processing that applies less compression to low frequencies 

- Soft stereo coupling: Preserves the stereo image while ensuring consistent compression

FreeBOB has just one main parameter, but don't be fooled by appearances, FreeBOB is very cunning.

The documentation in French and English PDF is included in the download.

FreeBOB is a Max for Live device and requires Ableton Live Suite (or Standard with the Max for Live extension) to be used.

It is not compatible with other DAWs.

System Requirements:

Minimum: Ableton Live 10.1+ (Suite or Standard with Max for Live extension) macOS 10.11.6, Intel i5, 4GB RAM / Windows 7, Intel i5, 4GB RAM

Recommended: Ableton Live 12+ (Suite or Standard with Max for Live extension) macOS 12+, M1, 8GB RAM / Windows 10, Intel i7, 8GB RAM
